About PerSystLab

Pervasive Systems Laboratory (PerSystLab) is a research group based at the Department of Computer Engineering, Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey.

Founded and led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Tacha Serif, our laboratory focuses on developing innovative solutions in pervasive computing, mobile systems, and human-computer interaction. We are committed to bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical applications that address real-world challenges.

Yeditepe University

Yeditepe University is a leading private research university located in Istanbul, Turkey. The Department of Computer Engineering offers undergraduate and graduate programs that emphasize both theoretical foundations and practical applications of computer science and engineering.

Our Vision

PerSystLab develops pervasive computing platforms that can sense, reason, and interact across diverse environments—from homes and campuses to hospitals and urban infrastructure. Our research emphasizes deployments that remain reliable in dynamic, real-world conditions while maintaining a focus on the people who use these systems.

We bridge the gap between theoretical computer science and practical applications, translating research insights into operational systems that solve tangible problems.
