Burcu Selçuk is a Research Assistant and PhD student in Computer Engineering at Yeditepe University, where she completed her M.Sc. degree with honors. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence and computer vision, particularly the application of deep learning models for medical image analysis. Her work aims to bridge the gap between state-of-the-art AI models and real-world clinical and educational workflows. Beyond her research, she is actively involved in teaching, academic publishing, and conference organization, and has served as a peer reviewer for scientific journals and conferences. She is particularly interested in building practical, impactful systems that combine strong technical foundations with thoughtful user experience.
